Felt much better so far this week. Soreness much improved, face starting to heal as well. Great having Frank around in Sexmarkt. Heâs been dead busy on computer. Iâve had a look at what heâs done and itâs incredible. Basically, the whole shop is on the computer. There are various pages with information that you can get by clicking on certain words. Everything we stock has been put under categories, like magazines, DVDs, CD Roms, accessories, etc. If you click on a category, you get a list of everything we have under that heading, with prices, etc. People all over the world can place an order with us by filling in their details and credit card number on screen and then sending it to us by e-mail - amazing. Itâll take Frank a few days before heâs input all our stock, but heâs finished the mags and DVDs. Heâs also managed to scan in pictures of each item, and thereâs even a page which tells people about the Sexmarkt, with pictures of me, Frank and Mariska. Under my picture, which is not one Iâd have chosen, it says: âGerard assures you discrete deliveryâ in four languages. Frankâll really have his work cut out when the orders start coming through. More work for me as well, as Iâll have to make sure the wholesalers get the stuff to us more regularly. Difficult to know how to gauge it over the next few weeks.
Sandra over tonight. She was in her âOh Gerard, I could never live without youâ mood until sheâd had her way with me. Then she switched to gripe mode - starting by going round the flat hunting for chocolate, accusing me of secret nibbling, as sheâs convinced Iâm not losing my stomach. Fortunately Iâd decided to hide the chocolate among Frankâs CD collection, so I scuppered her. Then she started on about Joopâs birthday party, how vulgar everybody was, how we need to get out of Amsterdam, and how I should start to move away from the likes of Joop and Bertus.
Eventually, she switched back to loving mode, and got upset when she told me she was going to Antwerp for a week on some sort of course from work. Think she thought I was going to be annoyed, but I was actually relieved, and wished her an enjoyable week. When she finally went, she said sheâd be thinking about me every day and would miss me terribly. I said I would as well (lying). Closed the door behind her and felt a weight lifting off my shoulders. Had two Mars bars in glorious defiance, but then felt the weight descend again.

Good news! Back in June there was a competition on the back of my low-fat Brekko-Bites - give five reasons why you like Brekko-bites. Iâd put: theyâre low in fat, theyâre tasty, theyâre value for money, theyâre nice with yoghurt and they keep me regular! Iâd put the last point in English, as I donât know how to say it in Dutch.
